Zombie Bride Card

I'm here to share another Design Team project for OAK Tree Stamps. I was feeling a little spooky so I turned the cute bride from the Now & Forever set into a Zombie Bride. This card was fun and super quick to make...

1. I cut the card base using black cardstock, It's cut at 4.75in. X 11.5in. and folded in half. I then cut a few scraps to make some fun layers.
2. I dripped Distress Stain on the white cardstock to make it look like blood spatter. I then added it to the card base with foam tape.
3. Layered the the purple on the black and then tucked a torn and inked piece of red cardstock under them.
4. To add the sentiment, I stamped out "Now & Forever" then dripped more Distress Stain on all over the stamped sentiment. I then just tore it out changing the direction of each little rip.
5. I colored the bride using colored pencils, I just had fun and made her look as creepy, cute and dead as I could. Then fussy cut her out.
6. To finish the card I inked the edges of all the pieces and glued them down. I added the bride and sentiment using foam tape. I then embellished with some enamel hearts.

Here is my Pocket Letter.

I really enjoyed making this Pocket Letter, it was a challenge to make it using only one stamp set but I loved every minute of it. I think it turned out super cute. I would love to give it to one lucky person that leaves a comment on this post. I'll be adding goodies in the back!!!
So leave a comment if you would like a chance to win this Pocket Letter!!!!
CONTEST WILL END SEPT.30th, 2015

1. I started out with a nine pocket trading card organizer. I cut 9 cards at 2.5 X 3.5, and inked the edges and inserted them to get the layout I wanted.
2. I then stamped several envelopes on the different patterned papers, and fussy cut them.
3. I cut out the postage stamp and mail box with my Cricut Explore. (cartridge and image info in product list) I inked all the edges with Distress Ink and pieced them.
4. These 4 cards are my favorite because the Maymay Made it Stamps, helped me to make them so unique.
     A. I cut this card out because i liked the banners. I then stamped the snail over the top of them directly on the card. I then stamped the snail on 2 different coordinating papers and cut out the shell and body and pieced them on the top of the first image I stamped. It's a great way to add color with out coloring. I then used a scrap cut at 2 inches 3/4in. to make a belly band. I stamped the "Snail Mail" sentiment and punched it out with a 1in. circle punch.  I added circle on the band and then tucked extra stamped envelopes behind it.
     B. This card was super easy. I just stamped the "Do Not Bend" randomly on the card. I then cut out a flag from the paper line and stamped on it "Fragile". I inked the edges of the flag added it on with dimensional tape.
     C. This card was the same as the one above I stamped one sentiment randomly then just added another over it on layered coordinating papers.
     D. This card I simply layers 3 pieces of paper added the mail box die cut, stamped the Happy mail sentiment and and cut it into a flag an added it with a piece of foam tape.

5. The bottom 3 pockets I simply added  the stamped and cut envelopes. The Postage Stamp card(s) i just put the to pieces side by side  glued down and then cut them in half.
6. I added a banner by poking holes in my card organizer and running twine through it and tying  knots on the ends. I then used paper clips to add some more of those cute little cut out envelopes.

DEADLY SWEET-Brutus|Monroe Design Team Post

Good Afternoon !!! I'm here to share this fun card I made for the B|M Design Team. I love Serena Bee and her stamp set, her creepy-cute style is such an inspiration to me.  Here is how I made the card...

1. I stamped the cone, and then stamped over it with the topper. I colored in the images using the Brutus|Monroe Inks as a watercolor. I'll add a link below to Christopher Alan Designs YouTube Video on how to use the inks as watercolors. I fussy cut out the ice cream cone, inked the edges and  layered it  on a piece of coordinating card stock. I also fussy cut that, and inked the edges.
2. I stamped the "you are deadly sweet!" sentiment. fussy cut it and added it on a coordinating banner flag. I  inked the edges with a sponge dauber and Brutus|Monroe Premium Chalk Ink in OZ.
3. This is my favorite card layout because it's so easy. I always just use scraps and chop them to fit to my liking. After all my layers are adhered to my pre-made card base I add my image and sentiment using adhesive foam tape.
4. To finish the card I added some enamel dots from my stash.
Here is the link on the water color technique:
You can forward to 14:30 to see the watercoloring, or watch the whole thing because its a great card with other awesome Brutus|Monroe Products.

Now & Forever Wedding Card- OAK Tree DT Post

I created this card just to have a fun twist on a traditional wedding card. My friend recently had a Neon Wedding so it inspired my card. Keep reading for a quick how to.

1. I stamped the bride & Now & Forever Sentiment from the Oak Tree Stamp Set-Now and Forever on regular white cardstock. I fussy cut them out and I colored the bride with colored pencils.

2. I layered the fussy cut images on a piece of coordinating cardstock and also cut fussy cut around them for a fun border and to make them pop.

3. This is my favorite card layout because it's so easy. I always just use scraps and chop them to fit to my liking. After all my layers are adhered to my pre-made card base I add my image and sentiment using adhesive foam tape.

4. To finish the card I added some layered sequins. I added pearls in the black ones and tiny rhinestones on the others to cover the tiny holes in the sequins.

This was such a fun card to make I hope you all enjoy it and give this card layout a try.

What I used:
OAK Tree Stamp Set-Now and Forever
Pre-made card base
Sequins
Pearls
DCWV-The Chalk Fun Stack
Momento Ink-Tuxedo Black
White Cardstock
Paper Trimmer
