Hold Me - Edward Scissorhands Card

Just dropping in to share this card I made yesterday. I absolutely love how it turned out. This card was fast fun and easy to make.

Supply List:
  • Cricut Explore
  • Stampin' Up! Cardstock-Whisper White
  • Pre-made Card Base
  • DCWV Mat Stack- The Rockstar
  • Stampin' Up Designer Series Paper Stack-Stacked With Love
  • Tim Holtz- ChitChat Stickers
  • Spectrum Noir- BGR3 & BGR1
  • Sequin from Stampin' Up!,Virginia Turtle, & my stash
  • Tim Holtz Distress Ink- Black Soot
  • Black with White Dot Washi Tape
  • Stampin' Up!- Stampin' Dimensionals
  • Wink Of Stella Pen - Silver
  • TheOctopodeFactory-Edward Scissorhands Digital Stamp
  • ATC Gun

I converted the Edward Digi in Inkscape so that I could add a  base and cut it out with my Cricut Explore. I love the crisp clean cut around the edges.  I then pulled out my Spectrum Noirs to color my image. I set it aside and worked on the card base.

For the background, all I did was add a few scraps how I figure looked good.  Just play around with it before you adhering it down. I then inked the edges with Black Soot Distress Ink.  I adhered it all down with my ATG gun.
I put down a small piece of washi tape to ground Edward. I added Edward onto the card with Stampin' Dimensionals. I used "Hold Me" because it is my favorite scene in the movie Edward Scissorhands. (Link Below)  To finish off the card I embellished with sequin and  Wink of Stella here and there.

I really hope you all enjoyed my card, I was inspired not only by the movie Edward Scissorhands but, also by an amazing artist on YouTube, Serena Bee.  I love her style of crafting, she is such an inspiration to me.  Please check her out she is wicked awesome!
