ScrappyDew 4th Of July Photo Booth Props

I used ScrappyDew's July 4th Set to create some fun photo booth props for 4th of July!!!
When you upload all the images into Cricut Design Space you will have to get rid of all the body parts and extras you don't need. Then just play with the sizes til you think it's going to fit a human head.(make sure you group the images so they are all the same size) The hair with bows had a solid back, I just sliced out an oval for my face.  The Uncle Sam mustache was a little harder but what I did was just cut a diamond  where the mouth would be.   I added popsicle sticks with hot glue for the handles. On the larger ones like the hat I used two sticks to make sure it wouldn't wilt. Oh yeah.. the stars in the background are from the set as well.

I had so much fun creating these, and just as much fun taking the photos to share!
I hope I inspired you to think outside the box when it comes to your ScrappyDew files!!!
If you have any other questions or need help in any way please leave a comment or msg me on Facebook.

Have A Happy & Safe 4th Of July!!!!

#1 Pop- ScrappyDew DT Post

Some call it a Coke, others soda, for this project it's called a pop.  To make this quick last minute Father's Day Gift is really easy!!!! Grab your dad's favorite soda drink and make a doll head that looks like him using Scrap Factory(Just just under 2in.). Cut a 2X 8.5 inch strip to cover the label on most 20oz. drinks.  You can use stickers or cut out #1 Pop with your die cutting machine. add a bow and you're done, beats a ugly tie any day!!!

Just realized the 1 is backward... Oops! Lol

What I Used:
Coke Zero-( What I had at home)
Journey Twine-Neutral
Scrap Factory- Not sure what Head/Hair Choose the one that is closest to our dad's hair style
Cricut Alphabet Font for #1 Pop
Foam tape
Tim Holtz-Distress Inks- Ground Espresso-Abandoned Coral- Vintage Photo

Best Mummy Ever- ScrappyDew DT Post

I created this card using a sketch from a card challenge going on this week in my Cricut group The Pioneer Cricuteer. You can find the link to the card sketch DS file in my Graduation Card post, posted earlier this week. The super cute mummy can be found at scrappydew.com the pattern set is called Mummy Madness. I have so many cute files from ScrappyDew, I love thinking outside the box when using them.  I was intimidated by this pattern but it was actually very easy. I used to different colored shimmer cardstocks on her. I inked all the edges with Hickory Smoke Distress Ink. To embellish the card I used dollar tree bling and a few random sequin. The sentiment is printed out on the same shimmer paper, I cut it out and added a border with the patterned paper.

Thanks For Stopping By & Happy Mummy's Day!!!

Monkey Around - ScrappyDew DT Post

Just swinging by to share a birthday card I created for my ScrappyDew design team project. The patterns I used came from the Halloween Cuties and the balloon is from Birthday Boy Cake Smash.
I also used a grass cut from the Cricut library. I used various Distress Inks on all the edges and a white gel pen for highlight. The sentiment is from an old Virginia Turtle stamp set.

Football Birthday Card-ScrappyDew DT Project

I created this football shaped card using the Football Boy 2015 pattern from ScrappyDew. My post day is on game day, that's why I made this shaped card. It was so fun to create this card, even though i'm not a football fan. I used the football as the card base by just enlarged it. I only had green paper with embossed dots, and no dot embossing folder so... I sprayed the green card stock brown with a Sharpie, EB7-Spectrum Noir, and my eBrush. All the other pieces are inked with various Tim Holtz Distress Inks. The face is stamped with ScrappyDew Facial Expression Stamps which I colored in with a colored pencil and white gel pen. I added pink chalk to his cheeks. I hand cut the flag and stamped Happy Birthday. I'm sure any little boy would love to get a card like this, with his favorite team's colors.

ScrappyDew Design Team Projects, So far...

This card was made with Graphic 45 - Song Bird papers.
I used The SD-Scrap Factory with the Royals 2 Expansion pack.  The eyes are done with SD - Dew Drops Facial Expressions.    The stamped sentiment is from a Stampin" Up! stamp set.

This wasn't really a Design Team project. I made him mainly to show the versatility of the Facial Expression-Dew Drop Stamp Sets. This is a Bear from Teddy Bear Parade Cricut Cartridge. I just hid the eyes and stamped them on.

This was a really easy simple project. I made the bag, then just added a head from a doll I cut out at the wrong size. then i used the Facial Expressions-Dew Drops Stamps to add her face. With a little highlight and bling for earrings it looks like it tooks awhile to make but was only about 15 minutes.

This was also just to show that you can use these Dew Drops  on Cricut cuts as well as ScrappyDew patterns. This little guy is from Create A Friend. I really love the versatility of these stamps.

Check out ScrappyDew I'm sure you will find several thing you just can't live with out!   SCRAPPYDEW.COM
